1C31232G02 is a standard 16-channel differential digital input module for Emerson Ovation DCS, widely used in power, petrochemical, chemical and offshore process industries to collect field discrete switch signals. Unlike single-ended DI cards, it uses differential wiring to strongly resist long-cable crosstalk and electromagnetic interference from large motors, VFDs and compressors, ideal for long-distance field signal wiring.
It supports both dry contact (passive switch) and powered 24/48V AC/DC active contact signals, covering common industrial interlock feedback: pump/fan running status, cabinet door interlock, fire/gas detection alarms, ESD emergency shutdown contacts, valve position feedback and low-speed pulse counting. Each channel is equipped with independent hardware isolation and overvoltage/short-circuit protection; single-channel fault only locks the faulty channel without affecting the other 15 input loops, ensuring continuous production stability.
